Sooo...did you know my husband was the Vice President of the SGU chapter of Humanitarian Services Organization? Probably not, but that's ok...now you know :) And a great Vice President at that! This Saturday they hosted a free health clinic downtown near the market and since I was unable to attend with him, I facebook stalked his tagged pictures to get something to show:
He looks so official :)
[Upon seeing this, J announced that he needed a haircut...]
And smart :)
Here he is with his exec board...the Pres is the furthest on the right.
They are lucky to have such a good looking guy to add to this picture :)
The last shift of student volunteers...
The guys in the red were workers at the Foodland that hosted the Health Fair. J really appreciated all their hard work and kindness.
Overall, J found the situation to be somewhat overwhelming, and his eyes were definitely opened to the challenge that medical clinics are going to be in the future, if we find ourselves there. He ended up writing a whole page of bullet points on how the next health fair could be improved/structured/organized for his own personal reference. I'm glad he is seeing some of these things so soon and he can continue to be involved in this stuff early on in his med school career.
He also smelled HORRIBLE when he came home...he said that, not me. [But it WAS true - eeee]
Ok, well that's all :) Goodnight, everyone. The V household is eating ice cream and watching the rest of a movie!!!!! HOORAY!!!!!! :):):):)
